Six Moreno Valley Police Explorers Promoted

By City of Moreno Valley

01/18/2019 at 03:21 PM

Six Moreno Valley Police Explorers were recently promoted in recognition of their hard work and dedication to their community.

Three explorers with Explorer Post 882 were promoted to Explorer Sergeant and three were promoted to Explorer Corporal.

Explorers gain a first-hand look into a career in law enforcement, learning basic policing, laws, while participating in physical fitness and team building. Explorers also give back to the community by volunteering at a variety of community events, including the City’s Public Safety Expo, National Night Out, and the Fourth of July Parade and Family FunFest.

We are extremely proud of these young men and women who have dedicated numerous hours after school and on weekends. These individuals participated in ride-alongs with patrol deputies and passed written tests as part of the promotional requirements.
