For the fourth time in five years, Norco College ranked “Best for Vets” by the Military Times. The College ranked number 12 out of 33 two-year colleges nationwide and number one of only three California community colleges to make the ranking.

"What an honor to be repeatedly ranked among the best colleges for veterans," said Bryan Reece, president of Norco College. "We are committed to supporting our student veterans and continue to provide resources to help them transition from classroom to career. We share this excitement with our tremendous employees and incredible business partners working alongside us." Norco College has a 73 percent military retention rate and a 67 percent graduation rate. In 2015, Norco College ranked number 20 on the “Best for Vets” list and top 16 in 2017 and 2018.

According to the Military Times, the rankings were more competitive than ever. 208 two- and four-year colleges, online schools, and career technical colleges were surveyed. The colleges were evaluated based on their survey responses and also used data from the Federal Education,

Defense and Veterans Affairs departments to determine how schools stacked up across the following five categories: culture, academic quality and outcomes, policies, student support, and cost and financial aid. The rankings are published online at MilitaryTimes.com, as well as ArmyTimes.com, NavyTimes.com, AirForceTimes.com and MarineCorpsTimes.com.

“Earning this ranking is a shared success,” said Lorenzo Harmon, Veteran Resource Center director. “We are proud to continue to provide access to exceptional support and resources.”
