Early morning hikers took to Blue Mountain, continuing a beloved local tradition that highlights the natural beauty surrounding Grand Terrace.

Residents of all ages gathered at the trailhead, many making the climb just after sunrise to take in sweeping views of the Inland Empire.

“This is why I love living here—you can see the whole valley,” shared a resident in a public Grand Terrace community Facebook post.

Another attendee wrote, “It’s the perfect mix of peaceful and challenging. We try not to miss it every year.”

The Blue Mountain hike has become a signature Grand Terrace activity, reinforcing the city’s identity as a community that values both outdoor recreation and neighborhood connection.
