Redlands Community Hospital Nurses Named Notable Nurses

Senator Bill Emmerson (R-Redlands) along with Assemblyman Mike Morrell (R-Rancho Cucamonga) honored nurses throughout San Bernardino and Riverside counties for their service to our community at the second installment of the 2013 Notable Nurses Awards Ceremony. From Redlands Community Hospital, Rebecca Baldwin, Sue Baze, Yvonne Hu, Nancy Hydinger, Denise McGinty, Tooyin Owolabi, Charito Pasion, Steven Potjer, Melissa Valdivia and Angella Waller were recognized as notable nurses. The breakfast and awards ceremony were held on Friday, July 12 at Redlands Community Hospital. The nurses were selected by their Chief Nursing Officer for their committed service to patients and dedication to the nursing profession. “It’s a privilege to be able to recognize these individuals who have given so much to our community,” Senator Emmerson said. “This awards ceremony is our way of saying ‘Thank you!’ for their service and dedication to improving the lives of so many throughout our region. Their hard work does not go unnoticed.” This year is the third year that Senator Emmerson has hosted the Notable Nurses Awards Ceremony and breakfast to honor nurses throughout the 23rd State Senate District, which covers portions of Riverside, San Bernardino and Los Angeles Counties. These nurses were honored alongside other Notable Nurses in the District: From Loma Linda University Medical Center: Jennifer Blaire, Tony Dharmaraj, Monique Edwards, Brenda Jerez-Aguilar, Hannah Li, Christina Niles and Amelia Tiefenthaler. From Riverside County Regional Medical Center: Laarni Colada, Adilu Flores, Andrea Harvey, Susan Kane, Jesse McDonald, Kathi Randall and Kristen Rodriguez From Mountains Community Hospital: Cecile Dalqwst, Sheri Esquerra, Lanie Hilleary and Jamaila Torbett. From Kaiser Permanente: Danielle Gledhill, Kathleen Hawkins, Jenny Hernandez, Brian Iacas, Jinsook Kim, Christina Landig, Antoinette McDowell, Chang Paik and Liwayway Torres. From Community Hospital of San Bernardino: Elaine Boatwright, Susan Brusig, Melissa Marshall, Isabel Pinto, Natalie Rosenblum, Darla Saddoris, Desiree Walker and Patti Weeks.
