Hosted by the City of Moreno Valley in partnership with the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce, the annual State of the City Address event features Moreno Valley Mayor Jesse L. Molina. The event will showcase the city's accomplishments and ongoing initiatives, city leaders said. A video presentation featuring all members of the city council will highlight fiscal responsibility, public safety priorities, economic development success and community care initiatives. The event takes place Thursday, Aug. 27 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center, 14075 Frederick Street in Moreno Valley. The cost to attend the luncheon portion of the event is $45 per person. The city provides space at the Conference & Recreation Center for live-stream viewing of the speech and presentation at no charge to the public. Reservations for the luncheon are required, as this event sells out every year. Contact the Moreno Valley Chamber of Commerce at 951-697-4404 for reservations and additional information, or visit the Chamber's website at www.movalchamber.org.
