MORENO VALLEY>> Hyundai of Moreno Valley will hold a job fair on Wednesday, Jan. 18 to recruit for approximately 35 positions at its newest flagship dealership which is expected to open in February. The job fair will be held 9 a.m.-11 a.m. at the Moreno Valley Employment Resource Center, located at 12625 Frederick Street, K-3 in Moreno Valley. Applicants are encouraged to bring a resume and to dress for success. "The Hire MoVal program provides incentives to Hyundai for hiring local residents," said Moreno Valley Mayor Dr. Yxstian A. Gutierrez. "Hyundai of Moreno Valley is our city's first new auto dealership in more than twelve years. I am excited about the new job opportunities it brings for our residents." The Hyundai of Moreno Valley dealership is currently under construction at 27500 Eucalyptus Avenue near the Stoneridge Towne Center. The dealership is expected to open in February 2017. "In the previous cities (Atlanta and Orlando) where we have established business interest, it has been a strategic plan to make the community/city better than we find it," said Michael Brown, owner of Hyundai of Moreno Valley. "It is with great expectations and anticipation to witness how we can mutually benefit from a healthy relationship with our community, supporting our civic responsibilities while growing a new business made up of many well qualified Moreno Valley residents." The Hyundai job fair announcement follows several other major hiring events where the city and its partners have helped fill positions at Amazon, Supreme Truck Bodies, Aldi Foods and Karma Automotive. Services at the Moreno Valley Employment Resource Center are offered in partnership with the Riverside County Workforce Development Center. The ERC is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
