MORENO VALLEY>> The City of Moreno Valley is encouraging all residents to show their love for the city by sending in photos of what they love most about Moreno Valley. The photo campaign is designed to help show the rest of the world why the city is special to the residents. Submitted photos will have the opportunity to be published in the City of Moreno Valley's 2017 - 2019 Budget book, displayed at City Hall or included in future city publications. "Grab your camera or your smartphone and capture what Moreno Valley means to you," said Marshall Eyerman, City Treasurer of Moreno Valley, in a press release. "It could be a picture of your uncle manning the grill during a family barbeque, an early morning hike to the M on Box Springs Mountain, your child's visit to Storytime at the City Library, or a local athlete sinking free throws at Celebration Park." Whether residents have pictures of Moreno Valley's Fourth of July fireworks or Snow Day, residents are encouraged to send their photos in for consideration of publication. For those interested, you can submit your best Moreno Valley photos to www.moval.org/ilovemoval or via Instagram, Facebook or Twitter by using the hashtag #ILoveMoVal. Participants must be over the age of 18 to participate and the deadline for photo submissions is Jan. 31, 2017.
