Victor Hugo’s classic masterpiece “Les Misérables” storms the stage in an original dramatic presentation of his stirring story as LifeHouse Theater’s 25th anniversary season continues. The play chronicles the astounding journey of Jean Valjean as he falls from grace and rises to redemption amidst the amazing events of nineteenth century France.

Performances begin Saturday, August 3, 2019 at 7:00 PM and will continue on weekends through September 1, 2019.

Regular advance ticket prices for each production are $20 or $26 for adults and $10 or $13 for children ages 3-11 (no children under 3 are admitted) and can be purchased over the phone with a Visa or MasterCard. Checks can also be mailed to LifeHouse, provided reservations are made far enough in advance. Tickets may also be purchased in person at the box office, which is open Fridays from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM and one hour prior to performance times on the weekends. Tickets are $2 more the day of the performance. Group rates are available for groups of ten or more. Guests are encouraged to reserve seats early as performances will sell out.

“It is a privilege to bring this redemptive story to our stage in dramatic form,” comments LifeHouse President Wayne R. Scott. “Hugo’s characters are richly conceived and the dramatic situations are as powerful as any one will find anywhere on stage.”

“Les Misérables” is presented by a cast of volunteer storytellers from all over the Inland Empire. Featured in this dramatic adventure are Michael Slusser as Jean Valjean, Cameren Foley as Inspector Javert, Megan Bundy as Fantine, Kori Hodson as Cosette, Anthony Faye as Marius and Aiden Gardenhire as Gavroche. The production also features Stephen Skiles, Cristy Gutierrez, Anthony Gritchin and Natalie Grace Kuld.

This original adaptation, written by Bethany Schwartzkopf, is directed by Nathan Smith. Springsted’s production staff includes assistant director Olin Richey Sr., costume designer Machir Lakofka and set designers Tim Mahoney and Vincent Martinucchi. Sound and lighting design is by Zach Michel and Peter Rajca.

LifeHouse Theater’s 25th silver anniversary season concludes with the return of “Cinderella” (September 14 - October 20, 2019).  LifeHouse Theater’s 26th season has just been announced with money-saving season passes are now on sale at the LifeHouse Theater Box Office.

The theater is located at 1135 N. Church St. in Redlands, next to the Redlands Christian School. Free parking is available in back of the theater. More information can be found by visiting the website at www.lifehousetheater.com or by calling (909) 335-3037.
