During the Grand Terrace City Council meeting, held on June 27, 20223, Grand Terrace Lady Titans Cheer was given Certificates of Recognition from the Mayor of Grand Terrace Bill Hussey, and the City Council.
Cheer Coordinator, Cecilia Contreras proudly stated the accomplishment the Lady Titans had this season, “Our season started in July and continued through December. These girls showed their support for their football teams every Saturday, for 10+ weekends, and showed their spirit during halftime routines and cheers.”
Contreras continued, “On November 6, 20222, our cheerleaders competed in the 2022 Southern California All-American Junior Cheer at the Inland Empire 66ers Stadium in San Bernardino. There was a total of 18 chapters that participated and over 1,000 girls.”
“I am happy to say that our Junior Micro Team placed second, our Micro Team placed first, Junior Peewee team placed first, Pewee team placed third, and our Midgets team placed second. We are extremely proud of all these girls for their hard work,” shared Contreras.
Council Member Allen proudly said to the girls, “We are proud of you girls for the work you put in and for representing your team and your community so well. Thank you so much for all the adults who supported and volunteered.”
The girls were given pins and certificates from Mayor Hussey and City Council.
