Time for Change Foundation’s (TFCF) 20th Anniversary Awards Gala, “Once Upon A Time” will honor outstanding individuals and organizations that go above and beyond for our community and continue to make a difference in the lives of others.

Time for Change Foundation is proud to announce that Patty Favela will be honored with the Ramos Family Spirit of Compassion Award for her continued growth and heart of compassion while facing many obstacles in her life. As a former TFCF client, Patty has remained self-sufficient and sober for over 15 years! Patty came to TFCF in 2006 in search of a way to overcome a life of homelessness, drug abuse, and prison.

Patty embodies the spirit of compassion daily, “I see people from my past and they say they want to be like me. I tell them, you can do it, but you have to do the work!” Prior to the pandemic, Patty and her children returned the compassion that TFCF poured into them by volunteering in any capacity needed, including driving the Time for Change Foundation van and assisting staff. Today Patty holds a position as a forklift operator at Amazon, is the proud mother of six successful children and fourteen beautiful grandchildren, and is a member of The Way World Outreach Church.

Other Award Honorees include:

Susan Burton of A New Way of Life Reentry Project with the Harriet Tubman Legacy Award, Vickie Lobo of Knock Knock Angels with the Nancy Varner Angel Award, Carmen Perez-Jordan of The Gathering for Justice, and Jay Jordan of Time Done with the Dynamic Duo Award.

Time for Change Foundation’s 20th Anniversary Awards Gala will be held virtually on April 28th, 2022, from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm. To support the work of Time for Change Foundation, you can become a sponsor, purchase an ad in the event program book, or purchase a Gala ticket.
