HR’s Denise Gibson Honored by RCOE

Congratulations to Human Resources Specialist Denise Gibson, who has been chosen as the 2015 Riverside County Confidential Employee of the Year. Gibson was surprised at the office by Steve Hovey, RCOE Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources, Dr. Robert Verdi and Dr. Judy D. White. Over the course of 23 years, serving in various positions at the school and district levels, Gibson has made a positive difference for many students and staff. Asst. Supt. Dr. Verdi said this in his nomination of Gibson for this well-deserved recognition: “For many new employees of the district, Denise is the first contact and first representative of what Moreno Valley Unified is all about. Her mixture of professionalism and integrity, coupled with compassion, always makes every employee she comes in contact with feel valued.” Gibson will be honored along with the rest of the Riverside County Educators of the Year at the Celebrating Educators Luncheon on May 5.
