Corey Jackson Runs to Represent MoVal's District 2

I am running for city council because I believe that Moreno Valley is at a crossroads that can determine the quality of life for all people who live, work, and play here. As a resident who has a passion and record of service, I am willing to make the sacrifices necessary to help guide the city in the right direction. Our city needs stable and thoughtful leadership to establish a shared vision in order to have a great city for both families and businesses. I know the district, and more importantly, I care about the people who call it home. With several years as a local representative on state and federal issues, 10 years in higher education, public education and early childhood education, a lifetime commitment to giving back, I have the proven experience to bring about positive change that is necessary to serve the people of the 2nd District. Together as a community we can: • Increase the number of police officers patrolling the city to reduce response time. • Create more educational and recreational services for our children. • Increase the number of businesses in the city. • Increase the cities revenue to increase public services for all residence. Community involvement: Traffic Safety Commission, Salvation Army Advisory Board, Assistant Youth Minister, California State University Board of Trustees, and Community Volunteer.
