Grand Terrace Friends of the Library Hosts Used Book Sale

Starting immediately, the Grand Terrace Friends of the Library will begin accepting used books from the community. While they welcome a wide variety of titles, please note that they will not be accepting magazines or DVDs at this time. Books can be dropped off at any time in front of the door south of the sheriff’s office. However, please be aware of the weather as there is no protection for books if there is wind or rain.

Volunteers lend a helping hand by receiving and sorting donated books every Tuesday from 9am to 11am.  Their dedication and hard work are essential in ensuring that all books find their way to eager readers.

Mark your calendars for June 1st, when the Friends of the Library will host their highly anticipated book sale in the community room at City Hall. From 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

To make the sale even more enticing, books will be priced at just $5 per bag and you can BYOB bring your own bag, any size. This incredible value allows avid readers to stock up on their favorite titles without breaking the bank.

"Our goal is to move the books and find them a good home," says a spokesperson for the Grand Terrace Friends of the Library.

Don't miss your chance to discover hidden literary treasures and support a worthy cause at the Grand Terrace Friends of the Library book sale. Whether you're searching for your next great read or simply looking to give back to your community, this event promises to be a rewarding experience for all involved.
