COMMENTS SOUGHT FOR PRO HOUSING GRANT APPLICATION

October 10, 2023 at 03:03pm. Views: 650

The City of San Bernardino is asking residents and interested parties to provide comments as part of its application to the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for its grant application for Arrowhead Grove, an affordable housing project to be located near the intersection of Waterman Avenue and Baseline Street.

The HUD grant requires applicants to publish their proposal in its entirety for public comment in addition to holding one public hearing. Comments must be received by October 18, 2023.

The Arrowhead Grove project will add additional housing units to the current facility that will be designed to adhere to accessibility standards of the Americans with Disabilities Act, ensuring that individuals with disabilities can live comfortably and safely. In the face of a growing affordable housing crisis, this Arrowhead Grove phase will help ensure adequate housing for all residents, irrespective of their economic standing.

To provide comments, please go to https://forms.office.com/g/STDsmmvRtW
