The Grand Terrace Historical and Cultural Activities Committee is still looking for vendors to participate in the annual Grand Terrace Country Fair on Saturday, No. 2, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lions Grand Terrace Community Center on the corner of Barton Rd. and Vivienda Ave. Anyone 18 or older who lives, works or takes classes in Grand Terrace may participate in the fair if they meet the guidelines. Children ages 10 to 17 may participate in the Children’s Cookie Contest. Vendors may: * Sell home-made arts and crafts, home-grown plants and produce. Spaces are free to those who have been accepted. (Participants may NOT sell food other than that produce, or any items that are not handmade in Grand Terrace.) * Display or demonstrate a hobby or collection. * Enter the cooking competition in these categories: chili, cakes, cookies, pies, breads, salsas, candy and/or preserves. Food contest entries are to be delivered to the fairgrounds by 8:30 a.m. and are sold after judging by the committee to help defray expenses. Applications and guidelines are available at City Hall. If you have any questions, or would like a copy of the complete fair guidelines or application by email, please call Pauline Grant at 909-783-1067 or Ann Petta at 909-825-8608 or email shellrose@sbcglobal.net.
