The San Bernardino Public Library will host a screening of The Cure: Healing the Mind, Healing the Body with filmmaker Emmanuel Itier on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at 6 PM in the Bing Wong Auditorium at the Feldheym Central Library, 555 W. 6th Street. The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with Itier.

The Cure is a worldwide study about Health, Nutrition and the Environment. It is a journey into healing ourselves and the planet featuring many inspiring visionaries, including Deepak Chopra, Michael Beckwith, Jean Houston, Sharon Stone, Mark Wahlberg, Barbara Marx Hubbard and many others.

In addition to his documentary series, Emmanuel Itier is an experienced feature film producer. He directed the thriller Tell Me No Lies and the horror film Scarecrow. Itier acted as a co-producer and financing consultant for Johnny Mnemonic, Another 9 1/2 weeks, Shattered Image, The Dentist, and Progeny.

In 2013 Itier executive-produced Red Passage, a drama filmed in Hong Kong, which entered the film festival circuit in 2014. He also directed and co-wrote an action picture for The Asylum, ATTILA, with ultimate fighter star Cheik Kongo.

Itier has also been a successful music and film journalist for rock magazines, French TV networks, and the Internet for the last twenty-five years. He grew up in France and moved to the USA twenty-five years ago.

In 2012, Itier completed the Peace documentary The Invocation, narrated by Sharon Stone, with Desmond Tutu, HH The Dalai Lama, Deepak Chopra and many other worldwide peace activists. FEMME-Women Healing the World was released in late 2013, earning several awards around the world. He was recently elected as the first president of the Rotary E-Club of World Peace.

Mr. Itier is now directing five documentaries “in order to keep making Peace, one movie at a time”, he says.  This new series is called The Universalis Collection: Documentaries for a Conscious Humanity.

This free screening is sponsored by the Friends of the San Bernardino Public Library. For more information call 909-381-8238, visit www.sbpl.org or www.facebook.com/SBPLfriends/
