LOMA LINDA>> On March 23, 2017, at approximately 07:08 p.m., deputies from the Sheriff’s Central Station, Loma Linda Police, received a call for service regarding an assault with a deadly weapon in the orange groves near Business Center Drive and Corporate Drive in Loma Linda. The victim and the suspect were transients that live together in the orange groves. The pair got into an argument, and the victim called police, stating the suspect, Karrie Alynn Danielson, 25, transient from Redlands, stabbed him with a knife. Danielson damaged the victim’s property with a hatchet. The victim tried to stop Danielson from damaging his property, but Danielson pulled out a survival knife with a five-inch fixed blade and threw it at the victim. The victim was struck by the knife, which lodged in his upper right thigh, causing a puncture wound. Danielson left the area following the assault, but was later apprehended by deputies. The victim was treated for his injury by the Loma Linda Hospital and Danielson was booked into Central Detention Center for the assault with a deadly weapon charge.
