28-year old Kim Cooley and the rest of the SBVC Women’s Cross Country team head into the final Foothill Conference Championship this Friday, October 23rd at the San Bernardino Soccer Complex at 10 a.m. Cooley is married with two children and, according to head coach Eric Abrams, is “running the senior year that she never got at Cajon high school.” The SBVC Women’s Cross Country team is wearing pink for the remainder of the season in honor of breast cancer awareness and are also wearing green bands in their hair and around their ankles in honor of coach Abrams’ father, who is battling lymphoma cancer, diagnosed at the end of September.
