Starting Wednesday, February 1, the Moreno Valley Public Library’s Mall Branch will open one hour earlier at 10 a.m.

The Mall Branch Library will now be open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“The Moreno Valley Mall Branch Library is a wonderful destination for residents of all ages to explore new books, use computers, and participate in exciting events,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “With the Mall Branch opening earlier in the day, residents now have more time to take advantage of everything the Library has to offer.”

Since its grand opening on December 21, 2017, the Mall Branch Library has received over 212,000 visitors, hosted nearly 20,000 programs, and circulated over 31,000 library books, DVDs and hotspots. The Mall Branch Library is located on the upper level, on the eastern end of the shopping center, near the bus transit center.

Beside free access to best-selling books and fun events such as story times and Nerd Night, library visitors can also take advantage of public computers and free WiFi Gardens.
