Kyle Koperski from Colton High School represented Colton American Legion Post 155 at the 2017 American Legion Boys State Conference. The conference was held at Sacramento State University for a week-long event (June 17th - 23rd) where 997 young men participated. The Boys State program is sponsored by the American Legion to promote citizenship, leadership, and an understanding of the structure of government. Each delegate learns all facets of government from City to State level in which they set up and operate. The American Legion Website provides detailed information on all activities. One delegate is selected from each high school and candidates are recommended by the Junior Class Counselor for the interview process.
Kyle will be presented with his participation certificates and share his experience at American Legion Post 155 at a later date. For more information contact Bob Lavin 909-234-2767
