Fatal Collision in Loma Linda

On Monday, July 8, 2024, at about 12:40 p.m., deputies responded to a vehicle versus pedestrian call at the 2500 block of Barton Road. Upon arrival, deputies discovered a male lying on the ground in front of the business with injuries caused by an automobile collision. The victim, identified as Jemie Sagulo, was provided medical care at the scene, and was transported to a local hospital. Sagulo was later pronounced deceased by medical staff.

During the investigation, deputies learned Sagulo was struck by a vehicle in the parking lot. The driver of the vehicle, later identified as  Eddalee Tolentino, stayed on the scene after the accident and cooperated fully with the investigation.
