From beginning to end, the Public Safety Expo's schedule is packed with police and fire demonstrations and hands-on exhibits sure to entertain and inform. The whole family is welcome to attend and meet the police officers and firefighters, eat food, and enjoy music and giveaways. The Public Safety Expo also provides an opportunity for job seekers and students to find out more about a career with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, CAL FIRE/ Riverside County Fire Department or one of the other regional agencies that serve Moreno Valley. The 2017 Public Safety Expo will include live fire suppression and car cutting demonstrations, hazardous device team robotics demonstrations, "sidewalk CPR" demonstrations, k-9 unit demonstrations, and an interactive how-to on how to use a fire extinguisher. A tour of the Emergency Operations center, which will allow vistors to learn more about the Citywide Camera System, will also be given. The Moreno Valley Animal Shelter will also be present for anyone who would like to adopt a pet. Demonstrations and displays are subject to change as emergency needs arise. Parking is free and available at nearby City Hall and at the Moreno Valley Conference and Recreation Center.
