Soon the political signs will be gone. The babies will not be kissed in every photo opt. Post of every good deed and who endorsed whom will no longer be on every other post. It is then when who ever gets into their elected position needs to get to work to follow through with the promises they made.

As being one of those people running I would like to thank you for your patience and understanding. No matter who wins, who does not. Who our next president is our what prop passed on the ballot, let's not forget that we all are humans. Lets treat others with respect. Support who ever becomes in office. Even if we did not vote for them. Hold them accountable to the offices they are elected to. Some may not respect the person but respect the title. Here in GT, if I am elected, thank you for your belief in me. I will learn more everyday while serving you. I promise to do my best. If I earn someone else's position on city council, thank them for their dedication to our city. Support them and encourage them. Thank them for volunteering their services. If not elected than, than thank you for your support and encouragement. Know that I will be at the next community event early to help set up

I love our city, I appreciate our citizens and will continue to encourage others to volunteer.

Shad Boal Grand Terrace resident.
