The City of Moreno Valley is excited to announce the grand opening of Windsong Park, a brand-new, family-friendly park designed to offer residents a safe and enjoyable space to gather, play, and relax. The dedication ceremony, held on August 29, marked the opening of Moreno Valley’s 36th park, and celebrated Moreno Valley’s ongoing beautification efforts throughout the City.

“Windsong Park is a shining example of our commitment to growing Moreno Valley responsibly,” said Mayor Ulises Cabrera. “Windsong is another addition to our impressive collection of parks, and it’s a testament to the pride we take in our City and our dedication to providing safe, welcoming spaces for all our residents. I encourage everyone to visit the park and enjoy all that it has to offer.”

Windsong Park is located at 13970 Azure Street, near Moreno Elementary School, Mountain View Middle School, and Valley View High School, making it an ideal spot for students and families alike. The park features two new shaded playgrounds, a walking path, four exercise stations, and two shaded picnic shelters, which will be available for reservations starting in late September.

The construction of Windsong Park was made possible through a valuable partnership with D.R. Horton.

Photo Caption: Crime in San Bernardino has dropped by 30 percent or more throughout the city. One reason is that there are more officers on the streets. The Police Department’s goal is to have 350 sworn officers. Current full-time staffing is reported at 295 sworn officers and 156 professional staff.
