Sinfonia Mexicana is excited to present its annual Mother’s Day concert - A Tribute to Mothers on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 5:00 PM.  For the first, time this concert will be streamed online and can be viewed from the comfort of your home with your family.  The concert is free as a gift of gratitude to mothers and to those who have supported Sinfonia Mexicana and the Mariachi Youth Academy.

For over 35 years, Sinfonia has presented a Mother’s Day Concert to celebrate, honor and remember our mothers.  Though we are unable to present a live concert this year, we wanted to present this traditional concert to thank all mothers for the countless ways in which they support their families and communities.

The guest artist, the renowned Mariachi Hermanos Vargas de Tepehuaje, from Jalisco, will delight the audience with traditional mariachi songs that will evoke fond childhood memories of mothers, grandmothers, tias, aunts, and all the women who touch our lives and communities.  We hope that you will be inspired to sing along and joyfully celebrate with your families.

Lourdes Aguilar, Board President, stated, “We are so excited to be able to present this concert for mothers and their families to enjoy together or shared from different homes.  We hope the mariachi and the songs will bring joy and happiness.”

The concert link will be available on YouTube - search for Sinfonia Mexicana Youth Academy. For more information, please call the Sinfonia Mexicana office at (909) 884-3228 or email at mariachiyouthacademy@gmail.com. You can also find Sinfonia Mexicana on Facebook and Instagram.  We encourage you to share this concert information with your family, friends and neighbors.

We truly hope that you will join us for this celebration - A Tribute to Mothers Concert.  On behalf of Sinfonia Mexicana, a very Happy Mother’s Day to all!!!
