Wilma (Wimp) Drews, 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 in Grand Terrace, California. She was born in Copan, Oklahoma on July 30, 1932, and later moved to Colton, California where she graduated from Colton High School in 1949. She soon fell in love with Gale Drews (love of her life) and was married in 1962. She was a dedicated and loving wife and mother; and her family was her everything. Wimp loved golf and enjoyed spending time with her husband and son Michael going on trips where they would play golf and, if they could, go fishing. She was preceded in death by both her son and husband, and has spent the majority of time working and generously contributing to various charities in and around her community of Grand Terrace. Her favorite companion during this time was her dog Caesar. Wimp is survived by her granddaughters, Jenna Butler and Kessin Drews of Idaho, five great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be greatly missed by all those people she has come in contact with throughout her life. The family will be having a private graveside service for those close to her. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Lions Club Scholarship Fund, the Salvation Army or Cub Scouts of Grand Terrace. Contact the City News Group for the address of these organizations, if needed.
