SAN BERNARDINO>> The East Valley Water District is making sandbag supplies available to their customers in preparation for rains and winter weather. “The safety and well-being of our customers is a top priority for the district,” said John Mura CEO/General Manager. “These supplies will assist the community to take a proactive approach in preparing for the winter season.” Premade sandbags are available while supplies last. Empty sandbags and fill material are kept on site for district customers now throughout the winter. As a reminder, customers will need to bring their own shovels and tools. Items will be accessible 24 hours a day seven days a week at EVWD’s Headquarters, located at 31111 Greenspot Road, Highland, California 92346. Customers may contact the district with questions by calling (909) 889-9501. For additional information on how to prepare for winter storms, visit www.eastvalley.org/winterstormprep.
