Redlands Senior Center Hosts Luis Fuerte for Desserts and Dialogue Program

REDLANDS>> On Monday, April 24, from noon to 12:30 p.m., longtime cameraman for Huell Howser of California Gold fame and several other PBS travelogues, Luis Fuerte, was presented as a guest speaker at the Redlands Community Senior Center's Dessert and Dialogue program. Luis, who is a five-time emmy-winning cameraman, discussed his newly released book, titled "Louie, Take a Look at this!: My Time With Huell Howser." Luis A. Fuerte! The book is about Luis' explorations of California and the time he spent making television. Dessert and Dialogue is a free program and is open to the public. The monthly series takes place after the senior nutritional lunch program at the Redlands Senior Center. The Redlands Community Senior Center serves hot meals from Monday through Friday, between 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. The hot meals are open to all adults, but a suggested donation of $3 is appreciated for those 60 or older. Guests who are under 60 can enjoy lunch for a $6 fee. For more information contact the Redlands Community Senior Center at (909) 798-7579. The center is located at 111 W.
