Generations, ranging from life-long Colton residents, to ones who call Hawaii home, made the journey to honor a man they call "great", Louis O. Romo.

Romo and his wife also owned a restaurant that many Colton community members are familiar with: Dell’s Drive In on La Cadena Drive.

Among his many accomplishments, Romo was recognized by Supervisor Josie Gonzalez as a U.S. WWII Veteran 23rd Battallion Ceabees.
