Law Office of Belen Gomez Celebrates Grand Opening in Riverside’s Historic Stalder House

The Law Office of Belen Gomez proudly announces the grand opening of its new office, located in the historic Stalder House at 6608 Palm Avenue, Riverside, CA. The celebration will take place on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 11 AM to 2 PM, offering a unique blend of tradition and progress as the firm opens its doors in this Riverside landmark.

The event will feature a ribbon-cutting ceremony, music, a wine bar, appetizers, giveaways, office tours, and networking opportunities. The Stalder House, a designated House of Merit built in 1905, stands as a testament to Riverside’s rich heritage, making it a fitting home for a law firm so deeply rooted in the community.

Belen Gomez, a Riverside native and principal attorney of the firm, has spent over 12 years defending immigrant rights in the local community. Her practice offers comprehensive immigration legal services and estate planning. Belen’s journey into law was driven by the lack of representation she witnessed as a young Latina. Her determination to create more visibility for Latinas in the legal profession has been the driving force behind her career.

According to the Diversity of 2022 California Licensed Attorneys report card, only 6% of attorneys in California are Hispanic/Latino, despite Latinos making up 36% of the state’s population. In the Inland Empire, the Latino population is 51.5%, and one in five residents is an immigrant, according to UCR’s Center for Social Innovation. These statistics highlight the vital need for services like those provided by Gomez and her team, who focus on empowering the Latino and immigrant communities in the region.

Speaking on the significance of the grand opening, Gomez shared, “We are proud to open our doors in such a historic location that mirrors our roots in the Riverside community. This space represents more than just a new office—it symbolizes our continued commitment to protecting the rights of immigrants and providing expert legal services in a safe and welcoming environment.”
