With a score of 52-27 GT Titan Wrestling defeated the Colton Yellowjackets.

The first league dual of the season started off with a quick pin under 20 seconds by Titans 113lb junior classmen, Andrew Amezcua who set the tone for the night. The much anticipated dual meet between the cross-town rivals proved to be just as exciting as expected. Freshman, Malaki Mailo weighing in at 120lbs scored the Titans a win by points 9-1 against Duran from Colton.  Finishing up with the most exciting match of the night was senior classmen, RC (Richmond Rivas) Titans Heavyweight to win in overtime by 1 point!!  Contributing to this win is the hard work and conditioning that all GT Titan Wrestlers put in at practice.  The season is well underway and the Titan team is in need of support. They are currently selling T-Shirts to raise funds for the team to enter tournaments, replace much-needed uniforms, and to provide the students a celebratory banquet at the seasons end. If you would like to donate funds, goods or buy a shirt in support of this Titan team, please contact Coach Odenbaugh at 909.213.7722 or via email at John_Odenbaugh@cjusd.net. Support your local students! Congratulations Titans!
