More Than a Song

Where are the teenagers in your life going to spend Friday night? There’s always something going on, but not all activities are positive and energizing. Often we waste our evenings away on our devices when we could get out and connect with real people and form new and exciting friendships.

On October 26th at 6:00 PM the Azure Hills church in Grand Terrace is hosting the first More Than a Song worship night for area high school students to connect with one another and God as the best friend and most enlivening friendship of all.  We are casting a vision for a walk with Jesus that is more than just another program, but is focused on life changing involvement, relationships and service. Multiple church youth groups from Yucaipa to Riverside and our very own community are joining together to kick off this initiative. From this inspiring meeting with free pizza and smoothies, bonding games, uplifting music and personal stories of lives changed by Christ, we will launch into much needed community service and meaningful fellowship together to make our community an even better place.

Nick Snell, the new youth pastor at Azure Hills is heading this up with the rest of the pastoral staff and the youth group from Azure Hills and they would love to meet the teenagers in your life, hear their stories and include them in this growing community of faith and encouragement.

Help us spread the word and join us in prayer that this gathering would unite us in love for one another and all in our circle of influence.
