Our Homeless to Work program is working!
Through a partnership with the Salvation Army and Waste Management, the city is helping to get homeless individuals off the street - and back on their feet.
Participants help to clear brush and pick up litter on city property. In exchange they are paid and have help finding permanent jobs.
Since 2017, our Homeless to Work program has put more than 25 percent of the city’s homeless to work in PERMANENT JOBS!
And the program has interacted with every single homeless individual in our city.
