Completed project establishes a strategic fuel break between Highway 18 and Devil Canyon while removing thousands of discarded tires. Along the northern edge of San Bernardino, the landscape changes quickly from residential neighborhoods to foothills covered with vegetation that can become dangerous during wildfire season.

For many military veterans, the most meaningful recognition does not come from an elaborate ceremony or a large public gathering. Few visitors stop to consider the decisions that help determine which services a library provides, how it operates or how its responsibilities to the community are defined.

One of the most visible projects Navarro wants to advance is the city’s planned sports complex.
