A two vehicle accident occurred today around 11:55 am at the intersection of Barton Rd. and Preston St. While both vehicles sustained damaged there was no life threatening injuries that occurred. Both drivers were able to steer their vehicles to the sides of the road to stay clear of oncoming traffic.
With this incident, it did not deter fellow drivers to slow down as many vehicles continued to zoom by the intersection not taking into account the accident that just took place. Sheriff's Department is on scene assisting and doing traffic control.
