For the second time, Norco College was selected as a designated Military Friendly® school for 2019-2020.

“Our Veterans Resource Center continues to knock it out of the ball park,” said Norco College President Bryan Reece. “This recognition reinforces the extraordinary services provided for our veteran community in their transition from classrooms to careers.”

Institutions earning the Military Friendly® School designation were evaluated using both public data sources and responses from a proprietary survey evaluating the ability to meet thresholds for student retention, graduation, job placement, loan repayment, persistence (degree advancement or transfer) and loan default rates for all students and, specifically, for student veterans.

The Military Friendly® Schools award sets the standard for higher education institutions to provide the best opportunities for veterans and their spouses. More than 8,800 schools nationwide were evaluated and only 766 schools earned designation.

“Our Veterans Resource Center team is honored to be recognized as one of the leading military serving colleges in the nation,” said Lorenzo Harmon, director of the Veterans Resource Center. This is a testament of Norco College’s commitment to our military servicemen and women.”

The 2019-2020 Military Friendly® Schools list will be published in the May issue of G.I. Jobs magazine. The list can also be found at www.militaryfriendly.com.
