The City of Moreno Valley's Geographic Information Systems (GIS) team, a section of the City's Technology Services division, is proud to introduce the Moreno Valley Mobile Map Viewer, the newest portal to access GIS information. The Moreno Valley Mobile Map Viewer is supported on a variety of devices, does not require the installation of the Microsoft Silverlight application framework, and makes it convenient to view GIS information on the go. The Viewer is intuitive and easy-to-use, allowing quick access to spatial information along with the ability to share it. Use the Moreno Valley Mobile Map Viewer site to: • Access Over 63 Square Miles of 3" Resolution Imagery • Search by Street, Street Address, APN, or Tract • Interface to Google Maps • Create Mailing Label Lists • Export Parcel Information • Print customized Street Sweeping Schedules • Generate Map Exhibits A Geographic Information System compiles multiple data elements, often from many different sources, to provide important information in an easy-to-use format. With over 50 data layers, Moreno Valley's GIS provides the information users need. The Moreno Valley Mobile Map Viewer site is another option that provides information to the City's residents and businesses. The City will continue to support the Moreno Valley Map Viewer, a full featured GIS website developed for Windows desktop use.
