The Val Verde Unified School District Police Department will be hosting its annual large-scale active shooter training event. This training scenario will include numerous local law enforcement agencies from surrounding areas. We intend to make this the most realistic first 15-30 minutes of an active shooter response as we can make it. We will be using role players that will consist of adults and students with added visual and audio effects for realism. Teams will respond every hour throughout the training.

Where: The training scenario will be held at Tomas Rivera Middle School, 21675 Martin St, Perris, CA 92570

When: Tuesday, December 19th, 2023, from 8 am - 5 pm

Who: Over 150 first responders, approximately 100 role players, 30 public relations personnel, various dignitaries from participating agencies, and city and county officials will be present.
