College students are invited to attend and lunch will be free for them.

The meeting will also include an explanation of the State of California propositions on the ballot for the November 6th election.

Michele Rendler has lived in Redlands with her husband for 28 years. They have five children who went to Redlands Public Schools, 9 grandchildren 5 of which attend Redlands public schools now. Michele grew up in a family of 6 girls, and her father was a school teacher for over 40 years. Her mother volunteered in the Parent Teachers Association and at the schools. Michele also has been involved in PTA; she was PTA president at the elementary, middle and high school levels, as well well as on the Redlands Council of PTAs. Her volunteer work includes: the Redlands Community Scholarship Foundation, and she has served schools directly through School Site Council at three different schools.    The key issues that are at the forefront of her platform are:

The health and safety of all students and our schools

The use of innovative learning environments and technology

Preparing our students for college and the workforce

Expanded classroom resources for all students and teachers

Michele Rendler says she's prepared to serve on the school board in District 2 with the same passion, commitment and dedication that she has demonstrated as a parent and community volunteer.
