Voice of the People: 92313

First I'd like to thank all those who moderate the Facebook group 92313. It's done sensibly and tactfully. During the months leading up to the November 2013 election the Measure C discussions were heated to say the least. For the last couple of weeks some of these issues continue to resurface and it was decided to split the politics into a new Facebook group, 92313 Politico. I'd like to invite everyone in the city to join this new group and join in the discussions. Some of you may think Facebook is only for idle chat but both the original 92313 and 92313 Politico can supply good information on what's happening in our city. To find the group, once in Facebook search 92313 and both should show in the results. The original group is approaching 1,000 members and 92313 Politico is just over 100 in less that a week. My following the group got me off my couch and into council chambers for the first time in 15 years.
