Supervisor's Weekly Message: CID and ARPA Funds

By Yxstian Gutierrez , Riverside County Fifth District Supervisor

Dear District 5 Residents,

A vital part of our strategy for the coming year involves the Community Improvement Designation (CID) and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds. These resources have been allocated with the explicit goal of benefiting our community directly. With these funds, we aim to facilitate significant, long-term improvements and provide a much-needed boost to various sectors within our district.

To make the most of these funds, I urge all nonprofit and community-based organizations within District 5 to seize this opportunity. I encourage you to visit our website at www.rivcodistrict5.org to apply for these funds. I believe in your dedication to serving our community, and I recognize the invaluable role that nonprofits play in our society. These resources are here to help your organizations continue their work and to further our shared goal of uplifting District 5.

This is an exciting time of change and progress for District 5, and it is my absolute honor to be serving you during this period. Let's unite our efforts, leveraging the upcoming opportunities to solidify District 5 as a community where every individual can prosper.

Sincerely,

Yxstian Gutierrez

County Supervisor
