Community Invited to the Washington High School Block Party

COLTON >> The community is welcome to attend the Washington High School Block Party, to be held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 24 at Washington High School, 900 East C Street in Colton. Admission is free. This fun community event will feature free food, games, and music. More than 40 vendors will be on hand, including booths featuring activities for children, as well as those with information on families and health. The Loma Linda University Schools of Nursing, Dentistry, and Medicine will be present, as will the Loma Linda and Colton Fire Departments, and Colton Police Department. The Arrowhead Regional Medical Center will also be in attendance with their Breath Mobile. Children can enjoy games, a petting zoo, and a chance to “read with a puppy.” “This event will be a fun time for the whole family – kids and adults,” noted Washington High School Principal Pete Tasaka. “All are welcome to attend and participate in this event.”
