Attempted Robbery at Local Store Leads to Investigation

GRAND TERRACE>> On July 26, at approximately 9:07 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Central Station (Grand Terrace Police), were dispatched to the Little Caesars Pizza, located at 12085 Mt. Vernon Ave. in Grand Terrace, in regards to an armed robbery. Upon arrival, deputies were informed a male subject entered the business covering his face with a red bandanna and brandished a black handgun, which was in his waist band. The suspect ordered the clerk to open the cash register. The clerk was unable to open the cash register and the suspect fled the business. The suspect was described as a white or hispanic male adult approximately 30 years old. Approximately six feet tall with a heavy set build. The suspect was wearing a black flat billed ball cap, white T-shirt and a red bandanna. Anyone with information regarding this incident is urged to contact Central Station at (909)387-3545.
