This coming weekend will be filled with tail wagging excitement. The city has been gearing up for their annual P.A.W.S in the Park day. This will be the fourth one that Colton has had.

The P.A.W.S. in the Park Pet Adoption & Wellness Support event will take place on Saturday September 8th at Fleming Park. It is an annual event pairing local pet related businesses and community involvements among puppy lovers. This special event starts at 10 am and will run until 1 pm.

P.A.W.S. in the Park is free to the public and sponsored by local animal organizations and businesses, who share the same passion for supporting our furry friends

With various vendors due to be in attendance there will be volunteers on hand performing the simple techniques of dog training and other services.

The city is inviting all of the public to this free event in hopes to find our furry friends their forever homes and the support that they need.

Previous P.A.W.S in the Park events had animal rescue groups offer pet adoption services while raising awareness about caring for animals in need. Also the past event attendees and their furry friends socialized and had a lot of fun participating in activities and the pet parade.

There will also be vaccinations and micro chipping available for our furry loved ones. Be sure not to miss this local event, it is sure to offer knowledge of services and support for your pets and you may even meet the newest addition to your family.
