Beautify MoVal

Our first Beautify MoVal event of the year is coming up on Saturday, February 8, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

As many of you know, this is one of my favorite MoVal events. When our community gathers to clean up our city, magic happens, and our community spirit strengthens.

We’re kicking things off with coffee and pastries at City Hall at 8 a.m.—because every great day starts with a bit of caffeine and good company! Bring your friends, family, or coworkers down to City Hall for the opening ceremony—everyone is welcome. Browse the vendor booths, enjoy that warm cup of coffee, and maybe even win some prizes in our trivia challenge!

From there, we’ll head out to Towngate Park and Rockridge Park, to clean up, spruce up, and touch up two of our City’s many parks.

If you can’t make it to this one, mark your calendars for upcoming Beautify MoVal events on June 14 and October 11 as well. Whether you join us for one or all of them, your contribution makes a lasting difference.

We also encourage businesses and residents to consider adopting a piece of MoVal. Maybe there’s a park where you love to walk your dog, a trail where you hike on weekends, or a particular road you drive every day. Adopting a park, trail, or road can help us to keep it clean and beautiful year-round. Working together, we can make sure our City is vibrant, clean, and beautiful.

I look forward to seeing you there, with a coffee cup in hand, and community pride in your heart! Let’s Beautify MoVal together and show just how much we care about our incredible city!
