This holiday season will be the third that a local musician will be helping make spirits bright for children. Invinceable, a hip hop artist and the publisher of Phat Inc. Magazine, will hold the 3rd Annual Christmas Toy Drive Sunday, Dec. 20, benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of the Mountain Community, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Subara, 645 W. Auto Center Drive. Radio station 99.1 KGGI will host the affair with red carpet arrivals beginning at 2 p.m. Invinceable first made national headlines with the release of his single, "A Soldier Never Dies," featuring Jon B. The anthem was dedicated to the memory of the rap artist's cousin, Anthony Hector Vargas, a Marine who lost his life in a San Bernardino neighborhood after returning from battle in Iraq. Festivities at the Dec. 20 event will include photos with Santa and his elves, special prize giveaways, including a $1,000 diamond ring raffle, food and drinks, live performances and music. Event sponsors include Suburu, The Boys And Girls Club and Cuddle Barn. Admission is a toy valued at over $10. For more information, contact Invinceable directly at Hello@phatincmag.com or 951-662-1044.
