On January 30, 2022, at approximately 0201 hours, San Bernardino Police call center received 911 calls regarding a shooting. Patrol officers were dispatched to 1014 E. Highland Avenue regarding a shooting victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital and treated by medical staff where he succumbed to his injuries. Officers responded and conducted an investigation. Based on witness statements, Sanguino was shot after leaving Los Arcos Mexican Restaurant (934 East Highland Avenue). Witnesses were interviewed and the investigation is ongoing. Currently, there are no additional witnesses that have come forward with information. Detectives are attempting to identify a suspect and are asking for assistance from the community.
