The Moreno Valley Parks and Community Services Department will host YouthFest on Sept. 12 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Community Park, located at 13380 Frederick Street. This free annual event showcases youth-oriented businesses and services in the area. This is a great time for families to visit the park and enjoy a variety of information booths, food vendors, free entertainment, opportunity drawings, and various activities for children. YouthFest will also include a Police K-9 demonstration, public safety vehicle displays, face painting, a balloon artist, and representatives from local youth organizations and agencies. Join us for this family-oriented event and see which activities spark your child’s interest. Applications for information booths are now being accepted. Visit the website at http://www.moreno-valley.ca.us/youthfest/youthfest.shtml to download an application and to get general event information. The application deadline is Sept. 4. Applications can be submitted at the Conference and Recreation Center at 14075 Frederick Street, or they can be e-mailed to rudyr@moval.org.
