East Valley Water District takes pride in attracting and retaining the best and the brightest staff. In a world where information is available at our fingertips through the internet, the District just launched a new software system to improve the hiring process. Effective May 1, 2016, all District applications can be completed through NEOGOV, an online portal connected to the District’s website. “This new system streamlines the job application process and incorporates modern technology,” said Board Chairman Ron Coats. NEOGOV is a human resources software for the public sector that automates the hiring process. Candidates interested in applying for current vacancies can search job openings and sign-up to receive notifications when opportunities become available. “The recruitment process could be the first impression we make on a potential candidate, so it is critical that we have the right tools in place,” said John Mura, General Manager/CEO.
