San Bernardino>> CEO Magazine has listed California State University, San Bernardino’s Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration among the top business schools in the world in its annual Global MBA rankings of MBA, EMBA and online MBA programs. The Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration was listed in Tier One of the MBA rankings for North America along with two other CSU campuses, East Bay and Long Beach. CSUSB was also tied for 16th in Global Online MBA rankings along with Griffith University and Deakin University, both in Australia. “The CEO Magazine Global MBA rankings are a great honor for our college,” said Lawrence Rose, dean of the college. “But it also pays tribute to our highly talented and motivated faculty whose dedication, commitment and enthusiasm provide truly outstanding and innovative learning experiences for our students.” CEO Magazine has been showcasing top business schools from around the globe since it first launched in 2008. In 2012, the publication launched its annual Global MBA Rankings, profiling MBA, Executive MBA and Online MBA programs. This year CEO Magazine reached out to business schools across North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the BRICS, and received responses from over 160 institutions – a 20 per cent increase in submissions from 2016. “The CEO Magazine recognition is a testament to the hard work and expertise of our faculty and staff to deliver a quality educational experience for our students,” said Craig Seal, associate dean of student success and assessment, director of the MBA program and a professor in the department of management. “We believe we are one of the best kept secrets in higher education … a secret that is quickly spreading!” CEO magazine uses a ranking system entirely geared and weighted to fact-based criteria that includes: the quality of faculty, international diversity, class size, accreditation, faculty to student ratio, price, international exposure, work experience, professional development, gender parity and delivery methods.
